1. What is alchemy ? (Read the full article with photos, links and illustrations)

Alchemy is the art of feeling, transforming and directing subtle energies thanks to will, feeling, and breathing. 

These subtle energies can't be measured by non living scientific instruments, but living people and animals can feel them.

As a first approach, we shall consider three QUALITIES of subtle energies:

- 1. spiritual energy : : the finest energy (intelligence, art,, ...)

- 2. social energy the intermediate energy (love, friendship, ...): linking spirit and matter

-3: material energy the heaviest energy (matter, physical strength, ...)

Each person has variable QUANTITIES of these energies.

Examples:

- an old man near death has very little material energy 

- a wrestling champion has a great quantity of material energy 

- a volunteer fireman has a great quantity of social energy 

- an artist has a great quantity of spiritual energy, , but he has usually less physical energy , and little social energy if he likes loneliness for long ...

etc...

The Great Work is the art of transforming your inner energies, from the average guy to a great alchemist:

At the beginning there was one form of Energy, Love. And it divided itself in two opposite qualities: Matter and Spirit.

These 3 energies refined themselves into 7 :

Spirit

Love

Matter

These 7 energies correspond to the 7 chakras, but it is a more general sturucture: it is possible to point out 7 levels between matter and spirit in many systems: firms, social organizations, living cells...

Each of these energies is balanced between 2 polarities: being active or passive, Yang or yin, light or darkness, hot or cold, sun or moon, father ou mother, male or female...

The system becomes:

yin 

Yang

But one should bear in mind that::

1. Highest spirit is 95% light, sun, active, Yang: there is too little yin 

2. Heaviest matter is 95% dark, passive, yin: there is too little Yang 

3. The center , social energy, Love, is the union not only of matter and spirit, but also union of yin and Yang, such as Love brings together male and female, so there is no division of 

The system becomes:

This is the Tree of Life's bidimensionnal model (vertical dimension: spirit/matter, horizontal dimention: yin/Yang)

As you notice, there is a perfect symmetry between yin and Yang, male and female: this tree of life symbolises symmetric systems, both male and female: androgynous creatures.

In ordinary reality, systems are usually only "male" or "female"; the "sexual" chakra is therefore only yin or only Yang:

more female, yin

more male, Yang

The average system becomes:

We have constructed the Tree of Life's structure. This tree is yin/Yang (yin: left, Yang: right)

Let's permute yin and Yang to obtain a symmetric tree: Tree Yang/yin (Yang left, yin right)

These trees are very efficient to modelize many systems, from human being to firms, social organizations, living cells, ...

Chakras are vortexes of energy in the body; here are the 7 main chakras and their locations:

Chakras are yin when they receive energy, Yang when they emit energy. Some of them are more likely to move and to differentiate themselves, due to their intermediate position. The energetic structure of human body therefore corresponds to the tree of life (see details):

Note that the right hand, the right side of the body is more YANG than the left side of the body.

Look at the back of the body, you'll obtain the symmetric yin Yang tree:

There are several energy lines between chakras/sephiroth: these lines globally result into 7 layers of aura:

Layer 1 : physical body

Layer 2 : etheric body; brings together all bottom chakras; acupuncture meridians are the energetic lines of this body

Layer 3 : inner astral body : around the heart: link between soul and matter; silver cord

Layer 4 psychic body: ego, has to be dominated

Layer 5 : spiritual body; brings together all top chakras: each thought draws a line of energy in this body

Layer 6 : divine body : spiritual potential is linked with the quality and quantity of energy of this body

Layer 7 : outer astral body, in contact with exterior macrocosm

Note a very important difference between Plato and the other systems: the progression is linear, from fire to earth, from spirit to matter: therefore, Plato correspondences are suitable for linear events, but not for circular ones, just like seasons, ... the other approaches are better in that case.

Note that this model suits to circular seasonal systems. Since fire is dry and warm, it corresponds to summer, water is cold and moist, it corresponds to winter, air is hot and moist just like the spring, whereas autumn is dry and colder than summer...

Several old texts claim this correspondence:

"The year is divided into four seasons; the first season is of a frigid complexion, and this is Winter; the second is of the complexion of air, and this is Spring; then follows the third, which is summer, and is of the complexion of fire; lastly, there is the fourth, wherein fruits are matured, which is Autumn" The Turba philosophorum

Alchemical symbols give useful information:

and are top (male, active, Yang), whereas and are bottom (female, passive, yin). 

Moreover, and are simple symbols, whereas and are more complex: it suggests Fire and Water come first, and then Earth and Air

We can advance :

As we pointed out, Spirit is more active than Matter.

Spirit therefore corresponds to the son, and Matter to the daughter:

Next, it is possible to add North, South, East and West.

There are several ways to check the reliability of this model:

1. -join the parents Yang and yin, and horizontally in the heart of the tree: you'll get a first Star of David 

- join the children vertically, you'll get a second star 

join both stars, you'll get a double Star of David:

Many claim south corresponds to fire, because south is thought to be hot: problem: if south is hot, then matter (south oh the tree of life model) is YANG: it is not possible because matter is passive, yin; more, in a circular system, the opposite of fire is, water; it will have to be north, and none of the models claim water is north. The last possibility is to adopt a linear model, like Plato, and sending water west or east, but it is not suitable for circular systems, like seasonal ones, ...

3.this model with elements rotating was know long before Aristotle; here is a fragment of Empedocles, more than one century before Aristotle :

"The mighty air propels him to the sea,
The water throws him to the earth, and earth
To sunlight's fire, who yields to whirling air." (read more)

Air > Water > Earth > Fire

This is one of the more ancient source and it perfectly suits the model.

4. as we will see in a future article, this model is especially designed for the alchemical Great Work.

5. there are many ways to introduce a 5th element, and to make it correspond with china 5 elements theory

7. The Alchemical Great Work (Read the full article with photos, links and illustrations)

It is extremely difficult to read and understand old alchemical texts (have a try here), for several reasons:

- alchemists used to hide their knowledge

- our cultural background is very different from the 15th or 17th century

- many authors just copy older texts with small modifications, introducing variations and contradictions among texts

- these old texts mix Esoterism and old science, so you have to filter useless old science from useful Esoterism.

- it is necessary to study Kabbalah, and perhaps some Persian an Indian knowledge before understanding the Great Work meaning.

- etc

Yet, if you read some of these oldies at Levity texts, you will learn that a special alchemical process occurs:

1. this process involves metallic transformations in a certain order, from lead to gold: lead, tin, silver, mercury, iron, copper and finally gold. (there are some variations, omissions, etc... among authors, but this is the more reliable succession; for example, see excellent John Dee "THE HIEROGLYPHIC MONAD"):

Note that this succession is specific to alchemy; in other esoteric fields, the most common orders are: Moon (Monday)> Mars (Tuesday)> Mercury (Wednesday)> Jupiter (Thursday)> Venus (Friday)> Saturn (Saturday)> Sun (Sunday) and also Saturn>Jupiter>Mars>Sun>Venus>Mercury>Moon (test yourself: try to understand the relation between these two successions)

Therefore, the alchemical order is very different from usual esoteric successions and this needs to be understood.

2. the process refers to a certain philosophical stone, whose color changes from black, to white, to red, to gold. It is very close from the succession of metals, since Lead corresponds to black (step 1), later Silver corresponds to white (step 3), Iron corresponds to red (step 4), and finally Gold corresponds to golden (final step).

It makes sense; the succession seems to be quite reliable.

3. two raw materials seem to be used, with many correspondences:

Of course, such a couple symbolizes female and male principles, yin and Yang, passivity and activity.

More, it introduces Water and Fire, and we already said in a previous article that Water was mother/yin and Fire father/Yang.

It makes sense with these alchemical correspondences and suggests alchemy has to do with the theory of elements.

5. going further, the alchemical process includes the 4 elements in a certain order:

"A fire that becomes earth. Separate the earth from the fire, so you will attain the subtle as more inherent than the gross, with care and sagacity." (Arabic Version of the Emerald Tablet of Hermes)

It means fire>earth

Many other texts claim a vaporization occurs and is of great importance: vaporization means water>air

And the same texts claim that after vaporization, a fixation occurs by heating: air > fire (heating) > earth (fixed)

So we have the complete succession: water > air (vaporization) > fire (heating) > earth (fixed)

Once fixity is achieved, old texts explain you have a white philosophical stone and only after it had to become red then gold.

What is of great significance is that we already studied this order: water>air>fire>earth : it is the elemental succession of the ancient Greeks, which was known long before Aristotle :

The alchemical process occurs in the same order as the succession of elements.

6. One of the more ancient and more important text, The Turba philosophorum claims seasons are involved in the alchemical process, in certain order:

"Know, also, that the year is divided into four seasons; the first season is of a frigid complexion, and this is Winter; the second is of the complexion of air, and this is Spring; then follows the third, which is summer, and is of the complexion of fire; lastly, there is the fourth, wherein fruits are matured, which is Autumn. In this manner, therefore, ye are to rule your natures, namely, to dissolve ill winter, to cook in spring, to coagulate in summer, and to gather and tinge the fruit in autumn." The Turba philosophorum

Here is the alchemical succession based on the model we already developed.

7. there are curious and symbolic pictures in alchemical books, and they seem to hide secrets:

The moon symbolizes yin, the sun Yang. More, there is a succession of spheres from earth to sky, from matter to spirit, just like chakras.

We already studied that (matter/spirit) and (yin/Yang) are gathered in the Tree of Life. (see article)

Is there a relation between alchemy and the Tree of Life ???

The answer is yes, for many reasons:

- several drawings in old alchemical texts show a man, the tree of life, sephiroth and planets:

- there is a well known correspondence between sephiroth/chakras, planets and alchemical metals.

Let's draw this alchemical process on the Tree of Life model:

We've got it: This is the Alchemical Great Work plan. 

The alchemical Great Work is nothing but a spiritual exercise to focus the flow of spiritual energy in the heart, using a spiral through sephiroth/chakras.

We'll detail it, then explain what are the benefits of this spiritual exercise:

1. Details:

It is possible to give more and more details, but 80% of the job is achieved; just read old alchemical books and add details on the picture if you're interested in.

2. Explanation of the benefits of the Great Work's Exercise:

If you understand and practice regularly the Alchemical Great Work, several benefits will occur:

- it greatly increases your resistance to psychological, magical, and karmic attacks, by repairing your aura.

- it improves your feeling of subtle spiritual energies and auras: you feel spiritual energy better and clearer.

- it helps replacing heart and feelings at the center of your life

- it develops general esoteric abilities, consciousness, mental structuration, ...

Note that after having concentrated the energy in your heart, you should do the reverse exercise, so as to balance energies: move the flow of energy from the heart to the exterior, following Empedocles succession Air > Water > Earth > Fire.

And of course practice progressively and listen to your body and feelings, ...

8. How to awaken Kundalini ? (Read the full article with photos, links and illustrations)

DO NOT practice these exercises without a good yoga background and stop immediately if you feel heat inside.

Awakening Kundalini progressively gives you more vitality and improves your abilities to feel and transform subtle energies. This article explains how to achieve this purpose.

1: Usual breathing structure:

Here is the usual breathing structure:

"There are two internal forces or breaths, Prana and Apana, which govern the inhale and the exhale respectively. Prana rises, spreads and blossoms. Apana goes down, contracts and roots." The process of Yoga: Richard Freeman

"Can you feel the upward flow as you inhale? This is prana vayu. Can you feel the downward flow as you exhale? This is apana vayu". Breath and the five Vayus: Catherine Carrigan

Note that when you inhale, the air moves downward in your lungs, but the energy moves upward in the main nadis: Ida and/or Pingala and Sushumna if Kundalini is awaken.

Pingala is the right channel, masculine, hot, related to the sun and running from Muladhara to the right nostril, it is located on the right side of the spinal column. Ida is the left channel, feminine, cold, related to the moon and running from Muladhara to the left nostril; it is located on the left side of the spinal column. Sushumna is the central channel. Running from Muladhara to Sahasrara inside the spinal column.

Usually, men are more Yang than yin: Prana they inhale usually flows more in Pingala (Yang nadi), than in Ida (yin nadi).

As a consequence, to balance energy, Apana they exhale usually flows more in Ida.

And more precisely adding sephiroth/chakras and the Tree of life structure:

This is the opposite for women or people who are more yin than Yang: 

"Breath predominantly in the left nostril is described as cool, and sometimes referred to as feminine; Breath flowing predominantly in the right nostril is described as hot, and sometimes referred to as masculine" says excellent swamij.com 

Note that the dominance may change from time to time during the day: the day is more Yang whereas the night is more yin, ...

First exercise: Experience opposite breathing

Try to breath the opposite way: if you are a man or a Yang person, imagine light moving UPWARD in Ida nadi when you inhale slowly and moving downward in Pingala nadi when you exhale. After 1 or 2 minutes, you should feel some energy in the area of your spinal column and experience slight euphoria. Then stop and repeat this exercise regularly. If you are a woman try the opposite cycle..

2 : Reverse breathing structure to awaken Kundalini :

Now we'll study a key exercise to awaken Kundalini by reversing Prana and Apana:

- Prana usually moves upward (both for men and women, check the above drawings): let's force Prana to move downward.

- Apana usually moves downward, both for men and women: we'll force Apana to move upward.

"Tantra teaches us to reverse the flow of Prana and Apana" Tantra Texas

"Most significant about the five Vayus are Prana Vayu and Apana Vayu... Reversing the energy causes the Kundalini at the base of the subtle spine to awaken, and to begin to arise" Swamij

Here is how to proceed for a man or a yang person:

a) inhale slowly and deeply, visualizing spiritual energy flowing DOWNWARD in your IDA NADI. The energy should flow until it meets muladhara chakra n°10. Let the energy feed your yin sephiroth/chakra 3,5,8. Feel Prana energy moving downward. 

b) exhale, visualizing spiritual energy flowing upward in your Pingala nadi. The energy should flow until it meets sahasrara chakra n°1. Let the energy feed your Yang sephiroth/chakra 7,4,2. Feel Apana energy moving upward.

After a few minutes, you should feel the energy flowing between muladhara and sahasrara. By practicing regularly this exercise, your body becomes accustomed to flows of spiritual energy. You should feel some heat in muladhara chakra due to this flow. Stop until you don't feel any more heat.

Try to feel the elements fire on your right, water on your left, air above your head and earth below your feet.

If you are a woman or a yin person, try the opposite:

It is also useful to try the men cycle if you are a woman, and the women cycle if you are a man; it may suits you better. Try to feel what is better for your body.

Then, let's add breath suspensions.

After inhalation in Ida (men) or Pingala (women), suspend your breath and concentrate on muladhara chakra. This breath suspension blocks the flow of Prana in muladhara and awakens Kundalini:

After exhalation in Pingala (men) or Ida (women), suspend your breath and focus your attention on Sahasrara chakra. This breath suspension blocks the flow of Apana in Sahasrara and awakens this chakra too.

It is also possible to suspend your breath and focus your attention on the flow of Apana in Ajna Chakra instead of Sahasrara Chakra: it awakens the third eyes and increases your mental and clairvoyance abilities ...

You can give special rhythms to your exercise if you like:

Inhalation: Prana moves downward 4 s 5 s 3 s 6 s 6 s ... 
Suspension in Muladhara
(while lungs are empty) 4 s 5 s 6 s 4 s 8 s ... 
Exhalation: Apana moves upward 4 s 5 s 3 s 6 s 6 s ... 
Suspension in Sahasrara or Ajna
(while lungs are empty) 4 s 5 s 6 s 4 s 0 s ... 

Test and choose the rhythm that suits you better.

All these exercises are very powerful; do not practice more than 1 minute at the beginning. It is of no benefit but a source of problems to practice more.

At last another exercise which is very efficient to awaken Kundalini, for both men and women , but you need to be trained and have a good knowledge of yoga to perform it safely:

a) inhale slowly and deeply, visualizing spiritual energy flowing DOWNWARD in BOTH Ida and Pingala nadis. The energy should flow until it meets muladhara. Feel Prana energy moving downward. 

b) After inhalation in Ida AND Pingala, suspend your breath and focus your attention on muladhara chakra. This breath suspension blocks the flow of Prana in muladhara and awakens Kundalini:

c) exhale, visualizing spiritual energy flowing upward in your SUSHUMNA nadi. The energy should flow until it meets Sahasrara chakra

d) After exhalation in Sushumna, suspend your breath and focus your attention on sahasrara chakra. This breath suspension blocks the flow of Apana in Sahasrara and awakens this chakra:

Do not practice more than 1 minute a day during the first 10 days; and you need to you have a good yoga background before practicing any of these exercises.

Explanations:

- old Arabic, Hebrew, Greek and Roman alphabets are very close together, both in the shape of letters and their succession: alif/ba/gim... alpha/beta/gamma... aleph/bet/gimmel... This suggests a common origin, which the bible says to be antediluvian:

"Now the whole earth had one language and few words. And as men migrated from the east, they found a plain in the land of Shinar and settled there. "Come, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower with its top in the heavens." And the Lord came down to see the city and the tower, which the sons of men had built. And the Lord said, "Behold, they are one people, and they have all one language; and this is only the beginning of what they will do; and nothing that they propose to do will now be impossible for them. Come, let us go down, and there confuse their language, that they may not understand one another's speech." Therefore the name of the city was called Babel, because there the Lord confused the language of all the earth." Genesis 11 

Studying the oldest languages we know about may gives useful hints for the quest of that language:

- old Arabic languages are very different from modern Arabic, but very close to old Hebrew:

Safaitic, Lihyanite are languages from old Arab tribes, in south Arabian desert; since they were relatively isolated from other cultures, their languages had few evolutions, which is of interest: they remain close to their original language

Surprisingly, in Colorado, petroglyphs have been found who match old Arabian alphabet 500 BC more than 90% :

More astonishing, these scripts relate stories about Temple, Adonai, ... and should come from an Arabian tribe living in the area of Israel, after the temple's building by King Solomon, just as Lihyanites. It seems impossible to have these scripts in Colorado.

Yet, an objective study of the book of Mormon claims Lehi (a Lihyanite...) was ordered by YHVH to quit the land of Israel and to travel to a new land, which the book of Mormon claims to be America. Therefore, some of the native Americans may be of Arabic and Jewish origin, emigrating around 500 or 600BC.

Dating, location, alphabetical correspondences, content of the stories (temple, Adonai, ...), climatic correspondences (the new land in partly desert) etc, ...give sense to the Book of Mormon, although I was skeptic before. It would be interesting to compare DNA from natives Americans of Colorado and DNA from Jewish and south Arabic. Some correspondences may prove the reliability of the story of Mormon.

Note that the author uses Hebrew roots to translate petroglyphs: it means old Arabic was grammatically very close to Hebrew. (and not just the alphabet).

- Royal Sabean is a the language of the Queen of Sheba, who lived in Ethiopia 950 BC; she had a son with King Salomon who built the first Jewish temple: here is an example of beautiful Sabean script:

There is a great homogeneity between these alphabets: there was little variation during centuries: they shouldn't be too far from the first worldwide alphabet.

These Greek alphabets are said to come from Phoenician 1200BC:

The Greek alphabet has letters for all consonants and for all vowels phthongs, whereas the Phoenician, the Hebrew and the more ancient alphabets had letters only for the consonants (= b, d, g, p, v, f, t, th, c, h, m, n, l, r, s, z) and for long vowels (aleph = aa, ayin = uu, yod = ii). 

THE OLDEST ALPHABETS WERE ONLY CONSONANTS and written usually from right to left (just as Hebrew today). More, as we pointed out for old Arabic translations, old languages roots can be understood thanks to modern Hebrew.

THEREFORE, The Hebrew language, its grammar, are not so far from the original worldwide language.

More, you should know that Hebrew (and Arabian) roots are mostly 3-consonant-letters roots: with 22 or 28 original letters (6 letters seem to have been forgotten in Hebrew, but remain in Arabic or Greek alphabets), you can obtain 28*28*28 = 21952 roots: that is enough for describing subtle variations of life.

ORIGINAL LANGUAGES ROOTS WERE MOSTLY 3- CONSONANT-LETTERS ROOTS

Even more, ORIGINAL LANGUAGE SHOULD HAVE THE SAME LETTERS SUCCESSION AS THE MAJOR ALPHABETS OF THIS CHART (with possible differences between the 6 last letters of Arabic and European alphabets).

Note that in Egypt (Demotic, Meroitic), in North Europe (Runes), in India (Brahmi), in North Africa (Berber) and even in West Africa other alphabets from 2000BC to 1200AC have astonishing correspondences with the alphabets of the chart:

2. In Le Mas d'Azil, France, dozens of artistic pieces dating from the Neolithic age 8000BC / 10000BC and even earlier have been found thanks to deep underground excavations. What is very interesting for our purpose is that letters were sometimes engraved (artistic signatures):

There are enough symbols to build an alphabet which surprisingly match VERY WELL the more recent ones, but unfortunately no complete text has been found there.

There are several Neolithic places in these area of France. The most interesting is Glozel

3. Glozel, less than 500km from Le Mas d'Azil, is a key place: more than 2500 Neolithic objects have been found since 1924, some of them engraved with letters or short texts.

There are more writings on Glozel artistic pieces than on Le Mas d'Azil ones: not only is it possible to build an entire alphabet, but we can spot a few words.

More astonishing, among the 2500 Neolithic objects found in Glozel, there are several totally engraved stones :

These stones are not hoax: Thermoluminescence and Carbon 14 tests confirm they are authentic and date from Neolithic.

There is enough material to go forward. 

1. Glozel alphabet match very well other alphabets (see chart above)

2. I introduced probabilities of matching since there are sometimes several possibilities of corresponding letters: the more one letter corresponds to other alphabets, the higher the probability is, and especially if these alphabets are from Europe, since Glozel is in France: 
I tried to find correspondences with European alphabets, and if there was no good matching, I tried old Arabic alphabets. the resulting alphabet seems to me quite reliable.

3. Glozel language is very structured and well written: compare Glozel scripts with the ones found in South Arabia or Colorado desert: people who wrote these texts were well educated.

4. Look at Glozel tablets: they seem to have been written horizontally, and probably from right to left, just like the earliest languages we talked about.

5. They date from 8000 to 10000BC : Glozel language must be very close to the antediluvian worldwide language (the Deluge is thought to have taken place around 11000BC)

6. There is approximately 28 or 30 main letters very close to other old alphabets; therefore, keeping the same order and the names of letters makes sense, even if the original pronunciation may vary.

7. As we pointed out above, just like the oldest alphabets, Glozel alphabet must be consonant (each of the main 28 letters corresponds to a consonant). It is therefore a phonetic alphabet, in my opinion.

8. A very careful study of the tablets show there are subtle variations for each letter (typically 4 or 5 variations)

My hypothesis is that these 4 or 5 variations for each letter code vowels. (it seems logical: a main letter codes consonant, and a small variation codes each possible variation from this letter, that is to say vowels).

Therefore, Glozel language (and antediluvian's one), must be Unicode Syllabaries (click here to learn more about this family of alphabets)

9. To translate the inscriptions (still undeciphered), one should write the corresponding Hebrew text, and the corresponding old Greek text (Greek vowels will have to be added later since Greek code both consonants and vowels)

It is known since a long time that there are correspondences between Hebrew and Greek: see Joseph Yehuda's work to learn more "Hebrew is Greek" : for examples:

Israel is the name used for the Jewish state; some dictionaries provide the following etymology: Israel = "powerful." What they don't realize, however, is that this word is made up of three Greek words: Is/ra/el, i.e. is = e?? or powerful; ra = king; el = sun or Apollo Zeus. 
Rabbi is the word used for their priest, in other words "the shepherd." The word's etymology is from the Greek word ??ßd?? or ?aßd?, meaning the stick used by the shepherd when leading his flock. This is how Rabbi came to signify the shepherd. Priests and bishops also hold a cane or stick, which symbolizes their power. 
Emmanuel is the Jewish name of Christ which is translated as "God with(in) me" without providing the etymology of the word, which is really made up of three Greek words; ?µ?? e? ??(?) or e? eµ?? ? ????? or within me is God (Pythagoras' theory). 
With two dictionaries, an old Greek one and an Hebrew one, it is virtually possible to translate Glozel Tablets, just as Gary Vey did for Colorado old petroglyphs.

Finally, one should be virtually able to translate antediluvian texts, that is to say texts from Atlantis. This is a work in progress..

The 12 Tribes of Israel, in the order of Jacob's benedictions, are :

Reuben (1), you are my firstborn, my might and the first fruits of my vigor, excelling in rank and excelling in power. Unstable as water, you shall no longer excel because you went up onto your father's bed; then you defiled it--you went up onto my couch !

Simeon (2) and Levi (3) are brothers; weapons of violence are their swords. May I never come into their council; may I not be joined to their company-- for in their anger they killed men, and at their whim they hamstrung oxen. Cursed be their anger, for it is fierce, and their wrath, for it is cruel! I will divide them in Jacob, and scatter them in Israel. 

Judah (4), your brothers shall praise you; your hand shall be on the neck of your enemies; your father's sons shall bow down before you. Zebulun (5) shall settle at the shore of the sea; he shall be a haven for ships, and his border shall be at Sidon. 

Issachar (6) is a strong donkey, lying down between the sheepfolds; he saw that a resting place was good, and that the land was pleasant; so he bowed his shoulder to the burden, and became a slave at forced labor. 

Dan (7) shall judge his people as one of the tribes of Israel. Dan shall be a snake by the roadside, a viper along the path, that bites the horse's heels so that its rider falls backward. I wait for your salvation, O LORD. 

Gad (8) shall be raided by raiders, but he shall raid at their heels. 

Asher (9) 's food shall be rich, and he shall provide royal delicacies. 

Naphtali (10) is a doe let loose that bears lovely fawns. 

Joseph (11) is a fruitful bough, a fruitful bough by a spring; his branches run over the wall. The archers fiercely attacked him; they shot at him and pressed him hard. Yet his bow remained taut, and his arms were made agile by the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, by the name of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel, by the God of your father, who will help you, by the Almighty who will bless you with blessings of heaven above, blessings of the deep that lies beneath, blessings of the breasts and of the womb. The blessings of your father are stronger than the blessings of the eternal mountains, the bounties of the everlasting hills; may they be on the head of Joseph, on the brow of him who was set apart from his brothers. 

Benjamin (12) is a ravenous wolf, in the morning devouring the prey, and at evening dividing the spoil. 

All these are the twelve tribes of Israel, and this is what their father said to them when he blessed them, blessing each one of them with a suitable blessing." 

One of the secrets of Israel Tribes (I know others : contact), is that this order explains what happened and may still happen to Israel in days to come : there is a close link between this order and the History of Israel (first era : Priesthood, second era : Kingdom, third era : Prophets, fourth era : Exil). 

I) Priesthood 

After Jacob's death, Joseph held the leadership, because he was "apart from his brothers" (see the benediction above), he was a man of God, successful in his spiritual and social life (prime minister of Pharaoh). 

Later, Yahweh told Moses to choose the tribe of Levi for the Priesthood. In these times, the tribe of Levy had a prominent role in Israel. 

Then Yahweh appointed various judges. Judging is precisely the role of the tribe of Dan according to Jacob's benedictions : "Dan shall judge his people as one of the tribes of Israel" 

Let's summarize this era of Priesthood on the chart of Jacob : 


II) Kingdom 

Then Yahweh decided to give Kings to Israel : the first King appointed was Saul, of the tribe of Benjamin (notice carefully on the chart above the transition process from Dan - end of prophets triangle - , to Benjamin - beginning of Kingdom triangle).

After the reign of King Solomon (950 BC), there was tough battles for the Crown of Israel : The Tribe of Gad had a prominent role in these battles, because "Gadites were army commanders" (1 Chronicles 12 v14). 

Let's summarize this era of Kingdom (compare with the era of Priesthood, and notice the importance of sacred geometry in this issue; Yahweh loves Sacred Geometry and structural harmony of systems) : 

III) Prophets 

Then Yahweh decided to choose prophets among the people of Israel. 

It's more difficult to connect prophets and tribes, for several reasons:

Unlike Kings, they are often of modest extraction, so it's not so easy to connect their origin to a tribe. 
During centuries, there has been more and more mixing among tribes. 
10 tribes are lost because of invasions, so we have less information in the Bible on what happened to them. 
Yet, some indications may be useful : 

Gad is generally associated with Reuben, organizing a transition between the era of Kings and the era of Prophets (notice carefully on the chart above the transition process from Gad - end of Kingdom triangle - , to Reuben - beginning of Prophets triangle). 

Later, (8th century BC) Isaiah delivered a prophecy about Zebulon : "Nevertheless, there will be no more gloom for those who were in distress. In the past he humbled the land of Zebulun" (Isaiah 9-1)

Finally, the Tribe of Asher symbolizes the decline of Israel's Identity : "Asher is one of the most indistinct and elusive of the tribes of Israel. It is difficult to fix the boundaries of the tribe's possessions". This decline is the transition to exile :


IV) Exile 

Simeon, Issachar and Naphtali are 3 of the lost tribes of Israel. 

The lost Tribes, after having formed and independent kingdom (The second dynasty of the Northern Kingdom belonged to Issachar, justifying its central position) , suffered from captivity and deportation to Babylon. 

Because of this deportation, we have very few additional information about what happened, but these 3 tribes are clearly connected with exile. 

Just notice the last Tribe, Naphtali, is know for its fertility : it means that the entire process from Priesthood to Exile is not the end of Israel's History. Thanks to fertility a rebirth of the state of Israel is to come, with other prophetic and sacred geometric issues from Yahweh, ...

Currency is just paper today. It is of psychological nature and relies only on confidence.

Monetary policy is therefore easy and very complex at the same time.

The basic equation of monetary policy in a close economy is:

(Flow of currency) = (Flow of goods and services)

(Flow of currency) = (monetary mass) * (velocity of circulation of money)

(Flow of goods and services) = (Prices index) * (Production SOLD)

This equation may be of interest in an open economy if fiscal measures are taken, such as variable VAT, to make domestic production more competitive. Without such fiscal measures, all your monetary or budgetary strategies will benefit a more competitive foreign country, just as US budgetary policy now benefits more to Chinese than to US firms.

A. If the flow of currency is increasing (too much money or too much velocity of circulation), and if at the same time there is the same flow of goods and services, then the average price of goods and services will rise: it's inflation.

To curb inflation, the possibilities are:

1. to decrease monetary mass: by monetary destruction or by higher rates (it is Mr. Greenspan's apparent strategy to curb inflation)

2. to decrease velocity of circulation of money: by immobilizing large amounts of money: it is Mr. Greenspan's real strategy to curb inflation by immobilizing hundreds of billions dollars in Asiatic central banks:

(Note that Asiatic countries benefit this strategy because inflation in the US would make dollar weaker and US firms more competitive: As a consequence, Asiatic exportations in the US would decrease, making their economy grow slowly...)

3. to increase the Production sold: 
a) if there is too few Goods and Services available, one should increasing production, importations, and research to create new innovative products; 
b) if there is enough Goods and Services available one should give or lend money to the people who lack (welfare state) to stimulate the economy.

B. If the flow of currency is decreasing (lack of money or lack of velocity of circulation), and if at the same time there is the same flow of goods and services, then the average price of goods and services will decrease: it's deflation.

To curb deflation, the possibilities are:

1. to increase monetary mass: by monetary creation (simple creation, special bounds creation, creation guaranteed by gold, foreign currencies reserves or domestic assets, ...) or by debt and ordinary bounds emission.

2. to increase the velocity of circulation of money: by exceptional fiscal measures, each during 2 or 3 months, to induce people into spending their money

3. to decrease the production sold: in taxing unnecessary goods or services, taxing unnecessary importations, regulating lending, ...

The more comfortable situation is at the same time a growth in the flow of currency and of the production sold. Then prices remain stable:

These are basic monetary rules.

Let's talk about key public monetary choices:

Usually, sold production increases since the society develops. Therefore, if the flow of currency does not increase, there is a risk of deflation. 

To curb that risk, as we explained, the state can decrease the production sold, but it is unpopular and abnormal, as society should constantly expands.

It is also possible to increase the velocity of circulation of money, but there is a limit.

The efficient solution is to increase the monetary mass: not too much (inflation risk), but enough to allow a regular increase in sold production (higher living standards)

The crucial choice is: should the state increase the monetary mass by creation of money or by debt ???

Of course, it is better for the state to create money (it's easy, it's just paper), but banks prefer creating the money (it's easy, just paper), and lending it to the state.

So it depends on the relative strength between public authorities and private banking.

Note that the vast majority of countries use only debt for decades...For example, the huge american deficit with asian countries means China and Japan actually lend hundreds of billions dollars to the US government for the war in Iraq.

Yet, even a strong state should not always create it's own money: it's too easy and will hide poor productivity, old production process.

A quick growth in monetary mass with no attention paid to the quality and productivity of domestic firms is inefficient.

A better way to proceed is to create money only to finance recurrent social expenses (welfare) and reliable public infrastructures.

Other economic investments should be financed by public or private lending, so as to make sure it is not wasted money, but generate enough profit to refund loans.
